Red Lager

Our Original Tucher Nuremberg Red Beer reflects Nuremberg's brewing tradition and is brewed according to a unique recipe. Using four different malt varieties, we brew our red beer as both a full-bodied lager and a strong lager. The robust strong lager is then aged in oak barrels for further maturation. After this period, our master brewers rely solely on their senses to determine whether, and more importantly, which barrel-aged strong lager should be blended with the full-bodied lager. The result is a well-balanced yet powerfully vibrant red beer of a special kind.
