Vina Albergada | Caminate Viura Blanco : Spanish White

Known primarily for their Tempranillo, they have also been growing Viura which, until recently, had been sold off to other wineries. The vines are around 30 years old and the grapes destemmed and fermented in steel using indigenous yeasts, with a very modest amount of sulphur added at bottling. Unfiltered and unfined it’s a refreshing and easy-going white wine. A classic Viura in many ways, you’ll find chamomile, pear and green apple. Really cracking value.
