Franconian Lager

This brilliant yellow lager has malt forwardness and subdued hops, making it smooth and drinkable, just the way they like it in Bavaria. "Helles" means light.
Baptist Göller was the brother of Josef Göller, the first in the family to own the brewery.
Baptist was a shrewd card player, but also a huge help in building up relationships with local farmers who supply all of the grains for the brewery. He even personally farmed some grain for the brewery. Today the tradition of only using local grain is still kept.
